Looking for a career in sales? Some of our best consultants had never recruited before joining us. They came from various backgrounds but shared the instinct that makes someone good at this: the ability to hold a conversation, handle rejection, and a desire to earn.
You probably recognise yourself here:
- You’ve held down a role and stuck at it.
- You’ve worked somewhere with real customers, targets, and pressure.
- You’re comfortable picking up the phone.
- You stay composed when a deal wobbles or a client pushes back.
- You’re independent, financially motivated, and ready to commit.
A degree is not required; many top performers do not have one.
What you’ll actually do:
- Lead retained search assignments for private equity-backed and high-growth businesses.
- Build out project teams and go-to-market functions, managing multiple hires at pace.
- Engage directly with CEOs, CROs, and investment partners.
- Map talent markets and headhunt key individuals.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder processes from brief to placement.
- Generate new mandates and build client relationships over time.
You’ll work to clear revenue targets in a high-performance team, with genuine progression and support.
