Tods Technology is seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join our team at our manufacturing headquarters in Portland, Dorset. This key role is responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across the business, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, customer and certification requirements. The successful candidate will play a leading role in maintaining and improving our ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems while supporting operational teams across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety (ISO 45001)
- Maintain and continually improve the Health & Safety Management System.
- Provide professional advice on risk control and legislative compliance.
- Develop and review risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
- Lead accident, incident and near-miss investigations.
- Conduct workplace inspections and internal audits.
- Manage contractor Health & Safety compliance.
- Deliver HSE training, inductions and toolbox talks.
- Environmental Management (ISO 14001)
- Maintain and support the Environmental Management System.
- Manage environmental aspects, impacts and legal registers.
- Monitor waste management, emissions and environmental performance.
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and best practices.
- Compliance & Systems
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Support internal and external ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 audits.
- Maintain HSE documentation, records and reporting systems.
- Drive corrective actions through to successful completion.
- Operational Support
- Provide a strong HSE presence across manufacturing operations.
- Support all departments with safety and environmental matters.
- Assist with new equipment introductions, PUWER assessments and process changes.
- Provide HSE support for site expansion projects and facility modifications.
About You
- Essential
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Internal Auditor qualification.
- Experience working with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma.
- IEMA qualification.
- Experience within aerospace, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment.
