As a Senior Fire Engineer , you'll play a key part in producing fire strategies, technical reports, and engineering assessments while collaborating with experienced specialists on complex and rewarding projects.
You'll also mentor junior colleagues, contribute to design reviews, and continue developing your expertise across a varied portfolio.
What You'll
Doing: Produce fire strategy reports, technical notes, and engineering documentation.
Develop practical, compliant solutions for both new-build and existing buildings.
Carry out risk assessments, means of escape calculations, smoke modelling, and performance-based analysis.
Attend design team meetings, providing technical guidance and innovative solutions.
Support delivery from concept through to construction and occupation.
Assist with programme coordination, planning, and client liaison.
Undertake site visits to review implementation and gain practical project experience.
About
You
To be successful as a Senior Fire Engineer , you'll have: A BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng, or equivalent qualification.
At least two years' experience within a fire engineering consultancy.
A proven track record of delivering fire engineering solutions on UK developments.
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant guidance.
Membership of a recognised professional institution, such as the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE), with progress towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
