We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager who has experience of small and large capital projects and reactive, planned and unplanned maintenance in an estate portfolio, to support our Estates team and develop a new team and capability to support our wide-ranging estates, from lifeboat stations to moorings and beach lifeguard units.

Your role
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference. You will be coming into this new role at an interesting time as we shape the organisation to take on the challenges of the future with the delivery of our 5-Year Plan (2026 to 2030) in support of our overall RNLI strategy 2040.
The Senior Commercial Manager will provide a high level of contracting support, including drafting and editing contract documents, tendering major and minor construction works, managing deadlines to contract and programme whilst also reporting on the commercial position of contracts against performance, challenges and costs to achieve favourable economic and/or strategic terms.
About You
To be considered as the Senior Commercial Manager, you will need:
- Qualifications RICS
- Experience of NEC and JCT contracts
- Experience of managing and supporting projects on compensation events and claims
- Experience and understanding of the CDM regulations
- Experience of tendering new projects
The role is suitable for someone who is currently a senior or Commercial Manager within the construction/estates industry with previous QS experience and a pragmatic approach to problem solving, and a practical and calm approach to a busy workload.
