Our client in Seaham is looking to appoint a Supply Chain Apprentice to their team.

The successful applicant will support the Operations Manager and Supervisor in ensuring all Warehouse duties are performed effectively.

They will utilise systems and communication tools to collect and gather data for effective reporting for the Supply Chain management team.

Primary accountabilities will include:
Support in the development of inventory management with the goal to control costs within budget, generate savings, rationalise inventory and maximise the working capital available.

Log and validate supply chain invoices
Support day-to-day supply chain operations, including inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination
Learn to manage procurement processes, supplier relationships, and contract administration in line with regulations and internal policies
Gain experience in warehouse operations, transport scheduling, and quality control
Qualifications required:
GCSE or equivalent, grade C or Level 5 in maths and English.

Willing to work towards Counterbalance and Bendi FLT licenses.

This is an apprenticeship position.

The successful applicant will work towards gaining the Supply Chain Warehouse apprenticeship standard for a period of 12 months.

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent role with our client.
