This is an exciting opportunity to join a major UK industrial employer as an Internal Recruiter, playing a key role in attracting and securing talent across operational, engineering, technical and professional functions.
You will manage a varied and high-volume portfolio of vacancies, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver recruitment campaigns while providing an excellent candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.
The Role
- Managing the full recruitment life cycle from vacancy briefing through to offer and onboarding
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements and develop recruitment strategies
- Writing and advertising engaging job adverts across multiple platforms
- Screening, shortlisting and interviewing candidates
- Managing high-volume recruitment campaigns and specialist hiring projects
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Advising managers on market conditions, talent availability and attraction challenges
- Supporting employer branding and candidate attraction initiatives
- Working with recruitment partners, local communities and careers events to strengthen talent pipelines
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Maintaining compliance with recruitment legislation, data protection and company policies
- Tracking recruitment activity and using data to improve hiring outcomes
- Contributing to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practices
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will have:
- Previous in-house or agency recruitment experience
- Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities
- Exposure to technical, engineering, manufacturing, operational or industrial recruitment environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Experience using ATS platforms and recruitment systems
- Strong sourcing and attraction skills, including digital recruitment methods
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience
- The ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
