We're recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to join a leading global logistics company based in Scunthorpe. This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 1 Drivers, LGV Drivers, C+E Drivers, and Tramper Drivers looking for ongoing Monday to Friday work with a modern fleet, competitive pay and excellent earning potential.

Shift Pattern
  • Monday to Friday
  • Approximately 60-65 hours per week
  • Regular nights out (Tramping)
  • Occasional Saturday mornings when required by the operation
The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you'll be responsible for completing nationwide deliveries and collections across the UK while representing our client professionally at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • General haulage deliveries and collections
  • Curtain-sided trailer work
  • Occasional container work
  • Daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
  • Delivering goods safely, efficiently and on time
  • Communicating with the transport office regarding any delays or issues
  • Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
  • Complying with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and vehicle care
What We're Looking For

We're looking for reliable, professional Class 1 Drivers who:

  • Take pride in delivering excellent customer service
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude
  • Work well independently
  • Are comfortable with nationwide tramping
  • Can communicate effectively with customers and the transport team
  • Always put safety first
Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum of 6 months holding your Class 1 licence
  • Minimum of 3 months' Class 1 driving experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No DD, DR, DG, IN or CD endorsements due to insurance requirements
