Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting skilled and reliable Anaesthetic Nurses to support theatre departments at Salford Royal Hospital. The successful candidate will work alongside anaesthetists and theatre teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and immediately after anaesthesia procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anaesthetists during surgical and clinical procedures
  • Prepare anaesthetic equipment, medications, and monitoring devices
  • Support patient assessment and preparation prior to surgery
  • Monitor patients throughout anaesthetic procedures and escalate concerns appropriately
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
  • Ensure theatre environments comply with infection prevention and safety standards
  • Provide reassurance and support to patients before procedures

Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)
  • Previous experience working within anaesthetics/theatre settings
  • Strong understanding of anaesthetic equipment and patient monitoring
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environments
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates preferred
  • Right to work in the UK
Desirable Experience

  • ALS or ILS certification advantageous
