Our client is a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice with multiple offices across the North West.

They provide accounting, tax, audit and advisory services to SMEs, owner-managed businesses and private clients, and have built a strong reputation for delivering a proactive, relationship-driven service.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join their established tax team.

Role Overview - Tax Manager
Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords and trusts.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing both compliance and advisory services.

Deliver tax planning advice across a range of personal and business tax matters.

Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser.

Handle HMRC enquiries, disclosures and investigations.

Work closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm to provide commercially focused solutions.

Support the development of junior team members where appropriate.

Enjoy a high level of autonomy with genuine opportunities for career progression.

Role Requirements - Tax Manager
CTA/ATT qualified or qualified by experience.

Strong personal tax background gained within an accountancy practice.

Experience managing your own client portfolio.

Exposure to advisory-led work for individuals and owner-managed businesses.

Confident dealing directly with clients and building long-term relationships.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to provide practical, commercially focused tax advice.

Trust experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
