Job Summary:
CTRG is looking for HGV Shunter Drivers to work in Runcorn. Working for one of the biggest and most prestigious brands in the drinks industry, you will be part of a fast-growing team with an excellent fleet of vehicles available to you.
- Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 experience required and previous Shunting experience
Role:
- Yard Shunting between sites
- Moving trailers/tankers
- Moving Curtains/Loading and Unloading units
- PM shifts
- Must be physically fit
- Walking involved from site to Terberg car park
- Uncoupling of Units
- Movement of Curtain side vehicles
- Unstrapping curtains
- Constant contact with FLT drivers
About You:
- Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence with Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience required
- DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph
- Experience in Shunter work
- Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
- Excellent communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude
