MET Technician / Strip & Fit Technician Leeds Up to £67,600 OTE | Weekly Pay | Company Vehicle | Permanent HP4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced MET Technician / Strip & Fit Technician on behalf of our client , a well-established accident repair centre with an excellent reputation for quality and employee retention.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MET Technician, Strip Fitter, Vehicle Technician or Accident Repair Technician looking to join a busy, modern workshop with excellent earning potential and long-term career stability.

The Role As an MET Technician you will be responsible for stripping and refitting vehicles following accident damage, carrying out mechanical repairs, diagnostics and ensuring vehicles are returned to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities Strip and refit damaged vehicle components ready for repair.

Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Carry out mechanical repairs including suspension, steering and braking systems.

Use diagnostic equipment to identify and clear vehicle faults.

Work with ADAS systems and modern vehicle electronics.

Liaise with Parts, Panel and Paint departments to ensure efficient workflow.

Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the repair process.

What We're Looking For Previous experience as an MET Technician, Strip & Fit Technician, Vehicle Technician, Mechanical Technician or Accident Repair Technician.

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, ATA Accreditation or equivalent experience.

Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.

Experience with wheel alignment, vehicle geometry and mechanical repairs.

Full UK Driving Licence.
