RATES:
- Days: from £16.68 up to £17.18 per hour (based on start time)
- Afternoons: from £16.68 up to £17.89 per hour (based on start time)
- Nights: from £16.68 up to £18.08 per hour (based on start time)
- Saturdays: £18.04 per hour
- Sundays: £20.07 per hour
- Overtime: £20.80 per hour (after 10.5 hours daily)
Estimated gross weekly pay based on 55 hours: £920. Expected gross annual earnings: £47,500.
Drivers are required to work Monday to Friday AM (between 02:00/05:00) or PM (between 14:00/17:00), with a mixture of store deliveries and long-distance trunking.
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Securing load of the trailer to minimise chances of damage.
- Providing excellent customer service and taking ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Being aware of any vehicle defects and reporting them to the Transport Office as necessary.
- Possessing excellent customer-facing awareness skills.
- Being a good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
- Having an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first-class customer service.
- Possessing good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
