South West London | Full-Time | Permanent Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits Mentus Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading independent mental healthcare provider to recruit a Specialty Doctor for an established Adult Acute Inpatient Service in South West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated psychiatrist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a well-supported multidisciplinary team.

You'll work on a adult acute inpatient ward, caring for working-age adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties, while benefiting from excellent consultant support, opportunities for professional development, and a positive working environment.

The Role As the Specialty Doctor, you will play a key role in the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of patients admitted to the adult acute ward.

Working alongside an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist, you will contribute to delivering safe, evidence-based care while participating in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical reviews, and care planning.

Key responsibilities include: Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate treatment plans.

Provide high-quality medical care for adult inpatients with acute mental health conditions.

Participate in ward rounds, MDT meetings, and clinical reviews.

Assess new admissions and respond to clinical emergencies where required.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Support junior doctors and contribute to teaching and service development.

Work collaboratively with nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, and allied health professionals.

About You We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate doctor who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

You will have: Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practise.

Previous experience working in General Adult Psychiatry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary working.

Experience within inpatient mental health settings is desirable.
