We are looking for experienced SOC Shift Leads to join a high-performing Security Operations Centre supporting a secure, large-scale technology environment in London. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong SOC background who can take ownership of escalated security incidents while leading, mentoring and developing SOC Analysts on shift. You will act as a key escalation point for complex and high-severity incidents, supporting incident containment, remediation and recovery while providing leadership across the SOC.
What you will be doing:
- Leading the SOC team during your assigned shift and handling escalations
- Investigating and responding to medium and high-severity security incidents
- Supporting incident containment, remediation and recovery
- Mentoring, teaching and upskilling junior SOC Analysts
- Supporting threat hunting, detection improvement and incident response activities
What we are looking for:
- 6+ years experience across SOC, Incident Response or Threat Analysis
- Previous experience leading SOC teams and mentoring/developing junior analysts
- Strong security incident investigation and response experience
- Experience across areas such as threat hunting and incident response
- Good knowledge of SIEM/EDR tooling; no specific SIEM platform is required
- Ability to confidently take ownership of escalations in a critical 24/7 environment
The role involves investigating escalated incidents, leading responses to higher-severity events and providing technical guidance to other SOC Analysts.
Package:
- Competitive salary £70,000 - £85,000 (D.O.E.)
