Cost and Productivity Manager (TMT) London - Hybrid £60,000- £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits Package We are seeking a Cost and Productivity Manager to join a leading consulting organisation delivering operational transformation and cost optimisation programmes across the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
Working as part of a growing Enterprise Operations Transformation team, you will support high-profile software and media clients to improve financial performance, optimise costs and drive productivity.
Combining financial analysis, stakeholder management and operational delivery, you'll help organisations implement sustainable improvements across key business functions.
Key Responsibilities as a Cost and Productivity Manager Deliver cost optimisation and productivity improvement programmes for software and media clients.
Develop and implement operational improvement initiatives across Technology, Media & Telecommunications businesses.
Analyse financial performance, cost baselines and forecasts to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support procurement and third-party spend optimisation initiatives.
Develop business cases, perform scenario modelling and produce clear management reports.
Work across engineering, cloud, product, marketing, commercial, operations and corporate functions to improve efficiency.
Lead day-to-day client engagements, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Coach and support junior team members while overseeing project delivery.
Manage project budgets, risks and compliance throughout client engagements.
Travel to client sites as required to support programme delivery.
Experience you'll need as a Cost and Productivity Manager 6+ years' experience delivering cost optimisation, productivity improvement or financial transformation programmes within the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector.
Strong understanding of cost drivers across software, Saa S, media or digital businesses, including cloud, software licensing, marketing, workforce productivity and platform investment.
Strong analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel for financial modelling, cost analysis and scenario planning.
Ability to produce clear reports and presentations using Microsoft Power Point.
Experience working with senior stakeholders across finance, procurement, technology, product, operations and commercial functions.
Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting business development or proposal activity.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
Relevant professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, MCIPS or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
Willingness to travel and work flexibly across client locations.
