Swift Education is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and highly organised Primary PE Teacher to join a vibrant and successful independent primary school in Fulham for the full academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate PE Primary PE Teacher to lead and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across the entire primary age range, inspiring children to develop a lifelong enjoyment of sport, physical activity, and healthy living.
The Primary PE Teacher Role
- Part-time position (2 days per week)
- Fixed-term contract for the full academic year
- Teaching PE across the whole school, from Early Years to Year 6
- Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive, and progressive PE lessons
- Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
- Completing termly reports for all pupils taught
- Contributing to the school's sporting culture and promoting participation in physical activity
The Successful Candidate for this Primary PE Teacher Role Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE within a primary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sport and physical education
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- The ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities
- Experience of planning, assessment, and reporting
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
