CBW is partnering with a world-famous historical venue in South Kensington to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their in-house maintenance team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor mechanical plant
  • Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  • General building fabric
  • Escort specialist sub contractors
  • Undertake repairs to HVAC Plant and Associated Systems to a high standard.
  • Undertake installation, alteration and repairs to pipework systems as needed.
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
  • Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  • Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

Working Hours:

  • 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
  • 2 early shifts: 07:00 - 17:30
  • 2 late shifts: 16:00 - 02:00
  • Cab home provided after late shifts (must live within M25)
