- Leading improvements in teaching, learning and inclusion across the school
- Supporting SEND provision, including overseeing interventions, EHCP processes and pupil outcomes
- Working closely with teachers to develop inclusive classroom practice
- Supporting staff coaching, mentoring and professional development
- Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to school improvement planning
- Playing a key role in maintaining the school's high standards and values
Applicants must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven leadership experience within a primary school setting is essential. Previous SENCO experience or significant SEND leadership experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of SEND provision, inclusion strategies and the Primary National Curriculum is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills. A commitment to improving outcomes for all pupils is essential.
