About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Meat Production Operative to join a busy food production facility in Rugby. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for stable, full-time employment.
The role involves packing and preparing a variety of meat products, including burgers, chicken breasts, bacon, sausages, and other fresh and cooked meat products, ensuring all products meet quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing meat products into trays, boxes, and retail packaging
- Handling products such as burgers, chicken breasts, bacon, sausages, and other meat items
- Conducting visual quality checks on products before packing
- Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Following company procedures and health & safety regulations
- Keeping work areas clean and organised
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
Requirements
- Previous production, food manufacturing, warehouse, or packing experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work in a CHILLED ENVIRONMENT
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Flexible approach to duties as required by the business
