Junior Estimator – Bespoke Furniture and Joinery

Salary: £25,000–£32,000 per year

Recruitable Staffing are proud to be recruiting a Junior Estimator for a specialist furniture and joinery business based in Rugby.
This opportunity would suit someone who has previously worked in a furniture, cabinetmaking or joinery workshop and is looking to use their practical knowledge in an estimating and commercial role.
The Role
Reviewing drawings and customer specifications
Estimating materials, labour and production costs
Preparing quotations
Liaising with workshop and production teams
Calculating material quantities
Supporting the pricing of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
Contacting suppliers for prices and lead times
Updating estimates and project information
Helping ensure quotations are accurate and commercially competitive
Requirements
Previous experience working in a furniture, joinery or cabinetmaking workshop
Good understanding of furniture manufacturing processes
Able to read drawings and specifications
Good numerical and computer skills
Strong attention to detail
Commercially aware and willing to learn
Good communication and organisational skills
Previous estimating experience would be beneficial, but practical workshop knowledge is essential.
Salary: £25,000–£32,000, depending on experience
