Staffline is recruiting for 4 x HGV Day and Night Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our client based in Rugby.

PAYE rates (Holiday pay accrued in addition) for the role of HGV 1 driver are as follows:

  • Days - £18.17 per hour (Guaranteed 11.5 hours per shift) + Overtime £27.26
  • Nights - £19.50 per hour (Guaranteed 11.5 hours per shift) + Overtime £29.25

Shifts are available on days starting 04:45 - 05:45 and Nights 16:45 - 17:45.

Your Time at Work: As an HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve trunking between Rugby to Lutterworth, which can involve some curtain-side work with full training provided. This site operates all year round and will provide each driver with a long term ongoing assignment. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you. We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available. Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply.

Our Perfect Worker: To be considered for this position, you should ideally have:

  • No more than 6 points on your driving license
  • Valid Digi card and DCPC
  • Minimum 2 years of HGV driving experience
