Overview of the Electro-Mechanical Fitter
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join a busy and growing team based in Bassingbourn on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Fitter
- Assembly and build of electro-mechanical products
- Wiring of components and systems to technical drawings
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
- Conducting basic testing and fault finding
- Ensuring builds are completed to high quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electro-Mechanical Fitter, Wireman or Mechanical Fitter
- Ability to both build and wire (multi-skilled preferred)
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
