Overview of the Electro-Mechanical Fitter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join a busy and growing team based in Bassingbourn on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Fitter

  • Assembly and build of electro-mechanical products
  • Wiring of components and systems to technical drawings
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
  • Conducting basic testing and fault finding
  • Ensuring builds are completed to high quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Electro-Mechanical Fitter, Wireman or Mechanical Fitter
  • Ability to both build and wire (multi-skilled preferred)
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
