Working on behalf of our client, we are recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing engineering contractor delivering mechanical projects across the UK Water sector.
Key Duties Managing multiple mechanical projects from award through to completion.
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
Planning and monitoring project programmes to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Managing project costs, variations and commercial performance.
Carrying out regular site visits across the UK to oversee project progress and resolve issues.
Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Producing project reports, programme updates and project documentation.
Liaising with clients, consultants and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
Managing procurement of materials, plant and subcontractors where required.
Supporting project commissioning, handover and completion.
What we are looking for Previous experience delivering mechanical projects within the UK Water industry.
Mechanical engineering background.
Experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, or a Project Engineer/Site Manager looking to progress into Project Management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Organised, proactive and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel to sites across the UK.
Full UK Driving Licence.
