The opportunity
ABS Talent is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner / Programmer on behalf of a well-established precision engineering client. This is a permanent, hands-on role for a skilled turner who can programme, set and operate CNC lathes to a high standard, producing precision components to tight tolerances.

The role
Programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines (Fanuc controls)
Producing precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
Working across twin-turret and twin-spindle lathes
Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes for quality and efficiency
In-process and final inspection using precision measuring equipment
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
About you
Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Programmer / Setter / Operator
Confident programming on Fanuc controls (manual programming an advantage)
Experience on twin-turret / twin-spindle lathes (Doosan or similar)
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused, reliable approach
Time-served or relevant qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ) welcomed
