On offer is the opportunity to join a long-established, family-owned engineering business supplying and supporting industrial machinery used to process solid wood, wood-based panels, plastics, composites, and metals. You will work from home and travel directly to customer sites across the South East, receiving support from the company's service office and technical team.
In this varied role, you will:
- Install, commission, service, maintain, and repair industrial machinery at customer sites.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
- Respond to breakdowns.
- Complete machinery inspections.
- Produce accurate service reports.
- Provide technical advice to customers and operators while maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service.
This role would suit a practical and self-motivated Field Service Engineer with experience servicing, maintaining, or installing industrial machinery who is looking for a customer-facing role with door-to-door pay, uncapped overtime, a company van, and manufacturer training.
