OVERALL PURPOSE: To build / assemble product including sub-assemblies, minor mechanical assemblies, major mechanical assemblies and riveted structures.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • To read engineering drawings and build / assemble product to quality requirements.
  • Assemble sub and minor mechanical assemblies.
  • Assemble major mechanical assemblies.
  • Assemble major riveted structures.
  • To carry out riveting of assemblies.
  • To apply velcro and dress seats.
  • To carry out duties in a proper and efficient manner, act wholeheartedly in the interest of the Company and comply with Company rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for ensuring a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
  • To support other team members with other tasks as and when necessary.
  • To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • To carry out other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required. This is not an exhaustive list.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Assembly experience in a factory environment (or similar).
  • Ability to use hand tools, including rivet pliers / gun.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Team Player.
