We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner Multi Trade to join a well-established housing provider carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance works to social housing properties across Rochdale. This is an ongoing temporary role offering an immediate start, regular work, and the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality responsive repairs for tenants within the social housing sector.

The role involves working on occupied social housing properties across Rochdale, carrying out a range of joinery repairs and multi-trade maintenance tasks to ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.

We welcome applications from Joiners, Multi Skilled Joiners, Carpenter Joiners, Maintenance Joiners, Multi Trade Operatives, Property Maintenance Operatives, Repairs Operatives, and Carpenters with experience working within social housing, responsive repairs, or domestic property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all aspects of domestic joinery repairs within social housing properties
  • Complete responsive repairs including doors, frames, skirting, architraves, kitchens, and general carpentry works
  • Repair, replace, and install joinery components to a high standard
  • Carry out minor multi-trade repairs including basic plumbing, plastering, and tiling where required
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues within occupied properties
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Provide excellent customer service while working within tenants' homes
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
  • Complete all work in accordance with health and safety regulations and company standards
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Joiner within social housing or domestic maintenance
  • Strong joinery skills with experience carrying out responsive repairs
  • Multi-skilled experience in basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, or other finishing trades is desirable
  • Experience working on social housing repairs is highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to pass DBS and DVLA/driver monitoring checks
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Good communication and customer service skills
