Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in Ripon, North Yorkshire who due to ongoing success are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Production Engineer to join their team.

Position Overview

  • Carrying out offline CNC programming for Lasers & Punch / Press machinery with the use of BySoft (training provided)
  • Process and raise production paperwork, job cards and work orders.
  • Ensure drawings, specifications and relevant documentation are available to production.
  • Assist with material and component requirements
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the production department.

Position Requirements

  • Qualified to HND or above within an Engineering / Manufacturing field OR relevant experience in the operating of Laser cutting or Punch / Press machinery
  • IT literate, skills with CAD / CAM are desirable
  • Good communication skills
  • Based in a commutable distance of Ripon, North Yorkshire

Position Remuneration

  • Salary £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00. Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
  • 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Increasing to 25 days after 2 years of service.
  • Peoples pension
