We are actively recruiting for a permanent Forklift Driver / Warehouse Person at a modern production facility in Ringwood.

Immediate Start for the right applicant

Operating food processing machinery used for producing sauces for the food service and hospitality industry.

Salary: £13.50 to £14.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours: 6am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday. 37.5 hours per week

Specific Tasks:

  • Operators will be required to undertake all warehouse tasks from locating product, receiving product, despatching product, stock counting.
  • Experience working on ERP systems to complete all warehouse tasks.
  • Experience loading and offloading trucks and containers.
  • Good understanding of food safety regulations.
  • Cleaning of machinery used and area worked in to company standards.
  • Maintaining an 'audit ready' department and mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Reliable, self-disciplined and a team player.

Experience/knowledge required

Experience Required:

  • Preferably, 2 years experience working within warehouse, experienced in picking, despatching, locating product and ensuring all paperwork and ERP system transactions are completed in timely manner and to the highest level of accuracy.
  • Preferably, 2 years forklift driving experience with valid licences for the following Fork lift trucks: FLT counter balance (essential) and FLT flexi pivot (desirable, not essential).
