The predicted salary is between 28000 - 34000 £ per year.

Based on-site at HMP Ranby, you will deliver Functional Skills Maths and English alongside Personal and Social Development (PSD) modules. Working with small groups of prison-based learners, you will develop their academic capabilities, life skills, and positive behaviours, while supporting them with their long-term goals, rehabilitation, and resettlement aspirations.

Our Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that advice and guidance is given when required, while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality, engaging courses that help learners to overcome barriers and reach their full potential.

What we are looking for:

  • Level 2 (or higher) in Maths and English, or equivalent
  • Experience delivering accredited PSD, Employability, or Life Skills curricula
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable, disengaged, or high-risk learners
  • Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners with diverse social and emotional needs

If you don't currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, we are able to support you through the appropriate qualifications and assessments, as part of your probationary period.
