Are you an experienced Platform Engineer with deep Azure expertise looking to work on infrastructure at serious scale? You could be joining a technology driven FinTech where you'll be responsible for the reliability, performance and evolution of a mission critical cloud platform spanning more than 250 nodes and processing over 32 million requests every day.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll design, build and optimise highly available Azure infrastructure, ensuring the platform remains secure, resilient and scalable as demand continues to grow. You'll automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment and operational processes, driving improvements across the software delivery lifecycle while reducing operational overhead.

Collaborating with engineering teams, you'll help shape platform architecture, improve observability and performance and champion Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps best practices. This is a hands-on role where you'll solve complex technical challenges and have a direct impact on the reliability of large-scale production systems.

Location / WFH: There's a flexible work from home hybrid model, you'll join colleagues in the Reigate office twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings with the other three days work from home (please note you must be within a one hour commute of Reigate).

About you:

  • You have strong experience building and supporting large scale Azure platforms
  • You have expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • You have strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform
  • You have advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills
  • You have experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
  • You have a strong understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring and high availability environments
  • You have excellent troubleshooting skills and experience supporting mission-critical production environments
  • You enjoy collaboratively problem solving to provide simple solutions to complex problems
  • You're comfortable in a senior role providing some mentoring
