About Our Practice:

Located in the charming market town of Hertford, our purpose-built clinic offers a calm, welcoming environment for both clients and colleagues. You'll be joining a warm, collaborative team made up of: 2 Vets, a head nurse and a small non-clinical team.

Our well-equipped practice includes:

  • Separate cat and dog wards
  • Isolation unit and sterile theatre
  • Digital X-ray and ultrasound
  • In-house laboratory and microscope
  • Capnography with pulse oximetry

We're fortunate to have a loyal, engaged client base and we prioritise giving our team the time they need to deliver truly high-quality care. Non-routine consultations are 30 minutes, and we regularly work with visiting specialists in cardiology, diagnostic imaging and orthopaedics offering you excellent exposure and learning opportunities.

About You:

You'll be a qualified RVN who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care. You'll bring a positive, proactive mindset and enjoy being involved across all aspects of practice life.

Ideally, you'll:

  • Be confident across all areas of veterinary nursing, including anaesthesia
  • Enjoy running nurse clinics and supporting clients through education
  • Be keen to continue developing through CPD and further qualifications
  • Be organised, compassionate and a true team player

The Role & Work Life Balance:

We truly value balance and flexibility, and we're happy to consider full-time or part-time applications.

  • No out of hours
  • No Sundays
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-1pm) with time off in lieu or additional pay
  • Weekday shifts (with a 30-minute lunch break): 8:45am - 5:15pm, 10:45am - 7:15pm
