Are you a People & Compliance Manager, HR Manager or People Operations professional with strong generalist HR experience and a background in compliance, looking for the opportunity to lead both people operations and corporate compliance within a growing business?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established and expanding business in a newly created senior role, working directly with the Managing Director and leadership team. With around 45 employees and continued growth, you'll have genuine ownership of the company's HR strategy, compliance framework and people development, while helping shape how the business operates for years to come.
In this role, you'll oversee the full employee lifecycle alongside corporate compliance, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and workforce planning. You'll also manage ISO standards, accreditations, insurance renewals, training records, right-to-work compliance and company policies, ensuring the business remains audit-ready and fully compliant.
This role would suit an experienced HR or People professional who also has exposure to compliance, audits, accreditations or management systems. Experience within construction, engineering or another project-based environment would be advantageous, alongside knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Constructionline or SSIP.
The Role
- Lead generalist HR across the full employee lifecycle.
- Advise directors and managers on employee relations and employment practice.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
- Coordinate ISO standards, accreditations and corporate compliance.
- Maintain training, competence and right-to-work records.
- Drive continuous improvement across HR and compliance processes.
The Person
- Strong generalist HR / People Management experience.
- Experience with compliance, audits or accreditations.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
- ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 experience advantageous.
- CIPD Level 5 desirable but not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
