Field Service Supervisor - Lead Engineer with experience in Nurse Call, Intruder, CCTV, Access Control or Telecoms.
HYBRID Southeast of England - Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, South London.
The Role:
As a Field Service Supervisor, you will be predominantly home based, supporting a team of regional engineers who provide repair and maintenance service covered by service contracts. You will ensure we deliver first class customer service, whilst balancing customer needs, commercial considerations and the company's reputation.
Responsibilities include:
- Support & manage the day-to-day operation of a team of Service Engineers, including the on-call rota.
- Provide leadership, support, coaching, and development to your team, including technical guidance and training.
- Review operational reports and performance data regularly, to drive improvements in productivity, first-fix rate, quality, stock control, and attendance.
- Support team members with repairs and maintain existing equipment and systems across the full product range.
Your Experience:
You will have an in-depth understanding of either Nurse Call, Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Telecoms or associated electrical and electronic systems. Customer focused, with strong communication skills and capable of working with vulnerable people. Experience of coaching, mentoring and training other Engineers within the Nurse Call, Intruder Alarm, Fire Alarm, Access Control or Telecoms sectors is vital to success in this role. You will be calm, positive and professional, a role model for your team of regional engineers. A full driving license is required.
