Female Support Worker in Redhill

You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to adult people with a Learning Disability, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

This is a permanent full-time position, 35 hours a week contract, working on shifts between the hours of 7 am and 10 pm, including weekends on a rota basis. This vacancy requires female candidates to apply to support the female residents in the most efficient manner.

Location: Princes Road, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 6JJ. You will be working at Holkham House, a Learning Disability and Autism service that provides a specialist residential service for men and women with a range of learning disabilities, including autism and sensory and communication impairments.

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with a learning disability who require a high level of support to live within a community setting and will continue to require this longer term. The aim of the service is to encourage individuals to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently through a programme of active community engagement, developing meaningful social networks and developing robust coping strategies.
