ASC Connections are currently recruiting for an experienced Powder Coater to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team where quality and attention to detail are highly valued.

Working Hours: Choose from one of the following day shifts:
7:30am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am - 1:30pm Friday
6:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 12:00pm Friday

Pay rate: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The Role: As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder-coated finishes to a range of manufactured products while ensuring production and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and powder coating a variety of metal products to a high-quality finish.
  • Operating spray booth equipment safely and effectively.
  • Carrying out visual quality inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Working to production schedules and achieving daily output targets.
  • Identifying and reporting any quality or process issues.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Supporting wider warehouse and production activities when required.
  • Following all health and safety procedures and company standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Powder Coating role is essential.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Good IT skills and experience using computer systems.
  • Previous SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
