Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (occasional weekends required)

We're recruiting an Events Officer to support the planning, coordination and delivery of council-led outdoor events across Redditch and Bromsgrove.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of outdoor events.
- Manage event logistics, contractors and suppliers.
- Liaise with council teams, emergency services and external organisers.
- Support health and safety compliance, including risk assessments.
- Provide on-site operational support during events.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders and partners.
About You:
- Experience in events or project coordination.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of health and safety within an events environment.
- Flexible to attend occasional weekend events and travel to event locations.
- A Basic DBS check is required for this role.
