DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator - Reading (On-Site)
An opportunity is available for a DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator to join a specialist team supporting a secure, large-scale big data platform for a critical national infrastructure programme.
Location: Reading - 100% On-Site , Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain and optimise Linux server environments.
Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.
Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash scripting.
Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, storage and performance issues.
Support secure IT infrastructure and CI/CD environments.
Essential Skills:
Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux or similar)
VMware vSphere/ESXi
Ansible or equivalent automation tools
Bash/shell scripting
Networking, storage and troubleshooting
CI/CD and infrastructure security
