As a Psychology Graduate, you will work closely with pupils who may have additional learning needs, social, emotional and mental health challenges, or communication difficulties. You will support students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping them build confidence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours.
As a Psychology Graduate, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
- Help students develop emotional regulation and coping strategies
- Support learning, engagement, and classroom participation
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Work alongside teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
- Observe and monitor pupil progress and wellbeing
- Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
