Network Security Engineer needed with active SC Security Clearance for a 6 Month Contract.
Start ASAP in August/September 2026.
The vast majority of the work is expected to be remote.
However, there may be occasional travel to UK customer sites including - Warwick, Wokingham, Corsham + Farnborough.
Working with a global IT Consultancy supporting a leading Telecoms end client:
Must have strong hands-on experience of: F5, Zscaler + Palo Alto technologies.
Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, Cisco Network Solutions
Technical Ownership of Customer Security infrastructure estate, processes, procedures, documentation + life cycle management.
Acting as technical point of reference + escalation for Security related changes, modifications + projects for firewall rule bases.
Technical point of contact for vendor support for security infrastructure incidents.
Design of customer networks including the support of High Level design (HLD) and Low Level design (LLD).
Providing technical support, Change management, for hard physical changes + soft remote changes, customer inventory management, hardware software, EOL.
Advantageous
Skills: Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, Cisco Network Solutions, Cisco IPT / Qo S / 802.1x / Inflobox DNS, Switches, Wireless, VPN (ipsec, SSL VPN, DMVPN, WAN Routing Protocols.
Telecoms industry sector experience preferred.
Must have active SC Security Clearance .
