As the business continues to grow in this demanding industry, it has recently been acquired by the Clean Stream Group with extensive presence now across the South of the UK. Working across our water contractors as well as our domestic and commercial clients, we are seeking the very best talent to work within our tankering division. No day will be the same, but every job ends with us delivering the best in service and customer experience. Our head office and main location is based just outside Reading and is easily accessible via the M4. We are ideally seeking applicants who are not based more than 25 minutes away.
The Person
- Flexible approach to work operating a roster programme which will include both days and nights.
- Able to work weekends and can commit to a reactive roster schedule at times.
- Experienced in working with a high level of autonomy and able to problem solve independently.
- Excellent time keeping skills with a record for punctuality, good time keeping, and reliability.
- A positive and tenacious attitude towards challenging environments and situations.
- Adaptable mindset based on the pace and variable changes of the daily operations.
- An ambassador for good customer service and going the extra mile.
- Excellent attention to detail in the completion of documentation and data entry.
Main Responsibilities
- Driving and operating vacuum tanker vehicles.
- Fully complying with site compliance in areas of PPE and conformance.
- Working on private and commercial properties.
- Ensuring all jobs are done in line with quality standards.
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Working directly with wastewater and comfortable in the handling and transportation of hazardous waste.
- Using high pressure jetting equipment to perform cleaning and clearance tasks in line with compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience of operating a vacuum tanker within the water industry (1 year minimum preferred).
- Able to commute to our main location in Charvil with access to your own transport.
- Hold a valid Class 2 license with your CPC up to date.
- A valid NRSWA & Jetting certification (Preferable but not essential).
- 5-year previous work history with references available upon request.
- Professional approach to driving and vehicle standards.
- A continuous improvement attitude towards development and learning.
- A positive and resilient mindset that thrives in challenging environments.
