The role of the Estimator Interior Fit-Out will involve:
- Predominately an Estimator role with additional commercial manager duties, dealing with a range of interior fit-out projects covering: partitions, furniture, ceilings, fit-out.
- Gain an understanding of project requirements through drawings, specifications, tender documents and client liaison.
- Analyse project plans and perform quantity take-offs to accurately estimate labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs.
- Obtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender submissions and proposals in line with client requirements.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams throughout the estimating process.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, pricing information and project documentation.
- Support cost control initiatives and prepare reports for management review and decision-making.
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Interior Fit-Out with:
- Must have Estimating or Commercial Management experience.
- Must come from a contracting fit-out background or a manufacture of partitions, ceilings, furniture or closely related.
- Highly advantageous to have experience with Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Capable of building and maintaining long term relationships with clients.
- Resilient, hardworking attitude.
- Full UK driving license.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
