SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high-end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and Yasa.
We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to make an impact on production performance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting production issues on existing equipment
- Developing a strong working understanding on Multilevel and Single level mechanical & Hydraulic press setting
- Training and leading others to develop their skills
- Identifying, planning and implementing continuous improvement projects across production
- Presenting solutions and ideas to the wider team
Required Skills:
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in a production/manufacturing engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Ability to interact easily with people at all levels
Work pattern:
- Day shift & rotating shift patterns available
- Day shift - Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm
