Our client is an established manufacturing business with a strong reputation for producing bespoke solutions for its customers. Due to a recent change within the team, they are now looking for a Quotations & Estimating Coordinator to join their Commercial department. You will be working closely with Account Management, Commercial and operational teams, turning customer requirements into accurate, competitive quotations. It’s a role that needs someone who enjoys detail, understands how costs come together and can manage a busy workload without losing accuracy.

What the Quotations & Estimating Coordinator job involves:

  • Producing accurate and timely customer quotations, taking into account all of the different elements required to deliver each project.
  • Producing accurate and commercially competitive quotations.
  • Reviewing customer briefs and information supplied by the Account Management team.
  • Calculating costs across areas such as materials, design work, labour, production time and other associated costs.
  • Creating bespoke quotations based on individual customer requirements.
  • Prioritising estimates according to customer needs and commercial deadlines.
  • Supporting Account Management and Business Development with quotations for both new and existing customers.
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and colleagues across the wider business where further information is required.
  • Maintaining accurate information within the company’s CRM and estimating systems.
  • Helping to ensure consistency across pricing and estimating processes.

The role plays an important part in supporting both existing customers and new business opportunities.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience within estimating, quotations, costing, pricing, commercial coordination or a similar role.
  • Experience within manufacturing, print, packaging, engineering or another production environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong numerical skills and confidence working with detailed cost information.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong data processing and analytical skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
  • A structured and process-driven approach.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using CRM or estimating software would be beneficial.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across the team.

We are particularly looking for someone who is accurate, adaptable, able to work under pressure and comfortable managing changing priorities.

You may currently be working as a Quotations Coordinator, Estimator, Cost Estimator, Manufacturing Estimator, Commercial Coordinator, Pricing Coordinator, Costing Coordinator, Sales Estimator or Commercial Estimator and be looking for your next opportunity in the Hull area.

  • Hours: 9.00am - 5.30pm
  • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the opportunity to buy up to five additional days.
