More about your role
The role is a secondment opportunity for an internal or FTC for external applicants until April 2027. You will deliver a high-quality Talent Acquisition service to all colleagues, managers and potential recruits. As a member of a small team you will work multiple roles ranging from frontline roles through to senior managers. You will create a sourcing plan with managers and design and implement a recruitment marketing plan (writing a compelling advert, using our employer brand collateral to post on social media). You will then manage the role through to offer, supporting managers and applicants. The recruitment team have a good reputation across the business, and you will support this by finding the most talented employees on the market. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues across HR to ensure that we provide a best-in-class experience.
More about you
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will provide expert recruitment support across the full hiring lifecycle, working closely with hiring managers to attract, assess and hire great people. You'll take ownership of recruitment campaigns, using direct sourcing, market insight and best practice to build strong talent pipelines and deliver successful outcomes. You'll manage multiple vacancies while ensuring a positive, inclusive candidate experience, and you'll guide hiring managers on effective assessment and selection methods. You will need superb IT skills, a very good knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to pick up new systems is a must - you will be switching between systems from Outlook to Teams to our ATS eArcu and often helping managers and applicants with system queries.

This is a Hybrid Role with a minimum of two days in our Preston Office; home working and some national travel may be required.
