HR Co-ordinator in Preston

I am currently recruiting for a HR Co-ordinator to join the growing People team for a client of mine in the Preston area.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping the HR processes running smoothly across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, contracts, payroll queries, employee relations and leaver administration. You'll also provide wider office and administrative support, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting the detail right.
What you'll be doing day to day:
Taking responsibility for updating the HR system, producing reports for the business
Co-ordinating the onboarding process for new starters
Preparing offer letters and contracts
Managing the HR inbox
Providing administrative support for employee relations and disciplinary cases, including notetaking, case files and absence tracking
Managing the full leaver administration process, including system updates, P45s, leaver letters and trackers
Carrying out regular audits
Uploading contracts and policy documents internally
Assisting with the preparation of information required for HR meetings
Supporting with administrative needs for HR projects
This is a great role for an organised, detail-focused HR professional who can confidently manage a busy and varied workload. You'll be comfortable working independently, spotting what needs to be done and taking action without needing close supervision.
For this role it is essential that you have some previous experience working in a HR support role and have strong IT skills.
Please note my client are happy to consider this role on a full time or 4 day a week basis.
