We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Services Manager to join an established housing association on a regional level in older people services.
This is a temp vacancy initially with the potential to go permanent.
The proposed start date is mid-September.
The role covers the Lancashire patch, such as Ormskirk, Preston, Blackpool for example.
Travel between schemes will be a big part of this position.
Therefore, a full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and business cover is required.
A basic DBS is also needed.
This is full time, Monday to Friday 9-5 on-site as and when needed.
Your new role Lead high-quality older people's housing services across your region, hitting key targets for voids, allocations, tenancy and leasehold management, and customer safety.
Act as the allocations lead, working with care teams, partners and local authorities to maximise income and ensure smooth lettings.
Manage budgets, ensure value for money, and keep services fully compliant.
Lead and support your team, maintaining strong performance and ensuring staffing meets operational needs.
Drive resident engagement, lead scheme meetings and resident groups, and respond to feedback in line with customer values.
Ensure your area meets all health, safety and safeguarding requirements.
Build strong stakeholder relationships, handle councillor queries and customer complaints, and support Service Managers with new ways of working.
And also deputise when needed and take part in the out-of-hours rota.
What you'll need to succeed Strong experience in housing management, including voids, allocations, tenancy and leasehold services.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance and maintain service standards.
Understanding of older people's services is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage your own diary.
Full UK driving licence, acces to your own vehicle and business insurance are required.
A basic DBS is necessary for this role also.
