About the Role
Careermakers Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers on behalf of our client based in Preston .
This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
1-3 stops per shift
Secure loads safely and follow correct strapping procedures.
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding issues or delays.
Maintain accurate paperwork and a professional attitude at all times.
Requirements
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with current CPC and Digi Tacho card .
Minimum 1 year UK experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of EU driver hours, regulations, and compliance.
No more than 6 points on your licence and no major endorsements (e.g. DR10, IN10, TT99).
Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused.
Able to complete paperwork accurately and follow instructions independently.
