Shift Patterns: Monday to Sunday, flexibility required. This role includes working regular weekends as part of the rota. You will be supporting a woman in her 40s who lives at home with her family. She is looking for support to help her live a fulfilling and enjoyable life while staying safe and independent. She has learning disabilities and epilepsy, so requires consistent support with her wellbeing and daily routines. She enjoys spending time in the community, including going out for drives, visiting local parks and exploring local shops. She also enjoys an annual family holiday with her relatives.
About the Role
Providing 1:1 support with daily routines and activities
Personal care support
Supporting with medication administration
Seizure awareness and support in line with care plan
Supporting community access, including drives, parks and shopping trips
Encouraging independence and engagement in activities
Promoting safety, wellbeing and consistency of care
About You
Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Home Care Direct does not offer sponsorship or work visas
Calm, observant and responsive
Care experience preferred
Committed to providing safe, respectful and consistent support
Knowledge of epilepsy and learning disabilities is desirable
