JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Conveyancer on behalf of our client in Preston, PR1
Our client is a 5 star rated business who operate within conveyancing and property law. The business has built up a strong reputation in it's local marketplace for good, friendly service and efficient handling of transactions.
Location: Preston (PR1)
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 DOE, plus options for a fee sharing arrangement.
Hours of Work: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent, Hybrid working after probation
The Role:
Managing a portfolio of conveyancing matters independently from start to finish
Handling all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring transactions progress smoothly and efficiently
Reviewing and preparing legal documentation accurately and within required timescales
Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties throughout the transaction
Providing regular updates to clients and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained
Identifying and resolving issues that may delay completion
Managing workloads effectively while working towards agreed targets and completion deadlines
Maintaining accurate records using case management systems
Ensuring all matters are progressed in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements
Taking ownership and accountability for delivering successful outcomes on each file
Experience / Skills Required:
Proven track record of managing and completing conveyancing matters from start to finish
Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and legislation
High attention to detail and accuracy when managing legal documentation
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
A minimum of 6 years of experience within a conveyancing role is required for this role
